2. What we process
meetherway processes the information needed to operate short, public first meetings in Nairobi: account data, profile details, photos, area, language preferences, meeting requests, confirmations, safety signals and technical data such as device, browser and log information.
3. Why we process data
We use this data to create accounts, show relevant profiles and first meetings, send signals, manage confirmations, support trust and safety, prevent misuse, improve the product and keep the platform stable.
4. Places and location
Nairobi meetings are designed around public places such as cafes, restaurants, rooftop bars, hotel lounges and brunch spots. If location features are used, they are only used to suggest suitable public venues and practical areas. Your private address is not shown to other users.
5. Verification
Nairobi trust and safety are based on email verification and optional selfie verification. Card ownership is not required for Nairobi. The architecture is prepared for future local payment integrations such as M-Pesa, but the launch experience works without credit cards.
6. Service providers
meetherway may use providers such as Supabase, Vercel, Google Maps, Google Places and analytics or email services where needed. These providers process data according to their own terms or on our behalf, depending on the service.
7. Your rights
You can contact us to request access, correction, deletion, restriction or export of your personal data, where legally applicable. You can also object to certain processing or withdraw consent for optional features.
